A must-see in Yangshuo! Moon Hill is a great half-day trip and an easy climb with steps and handrails the whole way. It was very hot the day we went but also quiet which was nice. The scenery is beautiful from the outlook and there were a few ladies selling ice-cold drinks at the top to thirsty climbers.. Visitors can reach Moon Hill via a 10 km or 50-minute bike ride from West Street in central Yangshuo village. There is also an internal shuttle service that can take you from the entrance of the Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area to Moon Hill. Probably the most popular natural attraction in all of Guilin, you’re most likely already familiar with the iconic Moon Hill if you’ve been looking into climbing in China. The giant arch was one of the first pieces of stone to be bolted in YangShuo and is a top priority for many a traveling climber. The arch was adopted as a symbol of both YangShuo and Guilin county some time ago and has.. Moon Hill Standing 8 kilometers from the Yangshuo County, the Moon Hill (月亮山) is a short distance from the Fenglou Village (凤楼村), the Gaotian Town (高田乡) in the Yangshuo Area. It is a huge slice of rock with a round hole in its center, and you walk 800 steps on a marble paved mountain path to reach it.
